Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Location: Dunkirk, NY

Shift Schedule: Nights 7p-7a 3x12

Blended Rate: $2700/WK

Stipend: $1162/WK

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patients' needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate dosage and safe administration.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary medical and surgical teams to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans.
• Monitor the patient's condition and collaborate with physicians in order to adjust treatment plans when necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, medications, and other self-care techniques.
• Document patients' medical histories, symptoms, and treatments accurately and efficiently.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of New York.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred, but an associate degree in nursing (ADN) will be considered.
• At least two years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience.
