Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Corrections

Location: Augusta, GA

Rate: $2270 Weekly

Shift: 48hrs - 4x12hrs - 7a-7p Days

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at a corrections facility in Augusta, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality healthcare services to inmates within the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct health assessments and screenings for inmates
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Monitor patients' vital signs and symptoms, and report any changes to the medical team
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement care plans for inmates
• Provide health education and counseling to inmates on various health topics
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients
• Adhere to all healthcare policies and procedures within the corrections facility
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the health and well-being of inmates

Requirements:

• Valid RN license in the state of Georgia
• Previous experience working in a corrections or similar healthcare setting is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• CPR certification
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
