RN - Med Surg/Tele - Concord, NC
$2100 per week
Nights - 3x12s - 36hrs

Duties/Responsibilities

• Evaluate and implement nursing care for medical-surgical patients
• Monitor and interpret vital signs, lab values and report any significant changes to the physician.
• Administer medications and treatments appropriately per physician's orders.
• Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record.
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members including physicians, therapist, social services, and case management.
• Provide patient and family education related to diagnosis, treatments, and discharge planning.
• Participate in quality improvement programs to ensure high-quality patient care.

Required

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Nursing (BSN/ASN)
• Current NC/compact licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Minimum of 2-year med-surg nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certification
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
• Basic computer skills
