Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse- Corrections (LPN)

Location: Augusta, GA

Rate: $1800 Weekly

Shift: 48hrs - 4x12hrs - Days

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our corrections facility in Augusta, GA. As an LPN in a corrections setting, you will be responsible for providing high-quality healthcare services to incarcerated individuals. Your duties may include conducting health assessments, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, providing wound care, and assisting with medical procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct health assessments and screenings of inmates
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor inmate vital signs and symptoms
• Provide wound care and other medical interventions
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for inmates
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations within the corrections facility
• Provide education and support to inmates regarding their healthcare needs

Requirements:

• Valid LPN license in the state of Georgia
• Previous experience working in a corrections or similar healthcare setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment
• Willingness to adhere to all security and safety protocols within a corrections facility
