We are seeking a dedicated and professional Pharmacy Technician/Customer Service Representative to join our team at Seven Cells, an independent compounding pharmacy. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our telehealth and walk-in services, ensuring that every patient receives the highest level of care and attention.

**A Florida Pharmacy Technician license is required**

Position Summary:

As a Pharmacy Technician/Customer Service Representative, you will play a pivotal role in delivering excellent customer service to our valued patients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Communicating with patients via phone, email, online chats, and other channels to address inquiries and provide assistance.
  • Serving as the welcoming and helpful face of our pharmacy, creating a positive experience for every patient.
  • Managing patient communications, including notifying them when medications are ready for pick-up, reminding them of refill due dates, and conducting follow-up as needed.
  • Collaborating with our pharmacy team to ensure seamless operations and exceptional patient care.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Pharmacy Technician certification.
  • Strong communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient information.
  • Commitment to providing outstanding customer service and patient care.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prompt and Professional Customer Service: Respond promptly and professionally to all customer inquiries, redirecting them to applicable departments as needed. Handle and resolve customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Order Communication: Communicate with customers promptly regarding any delays, cancellations, or interruptions to their orders, ensuring transparency and customer satisfaction.
  • Online and Phone Support: Answer all online chats and emails from customers, as well as promptly answering all phone calls. Provide courteous and accurate assistance to customers via telephone, adhering to pharmacy guidelines and performance standards.
  • Shipping Management: Maintain the shipping station by packaging all orders efficiently and ensuring timely dispatch. Schedule FedEx and USPS pickups daily to ensure timely delivery to customers.
  • Adherence to Policies and Procedures: Follow all company policies and procedures as directed by supervisors. Manage time effectively to meet job requirements and deadlines.
  • General Office Tasks: Perform general office tasks as assigned, contributing to the smooth operation of the pharmacy.
  • Project Participation: Participate in projects assigned by supervisors, contributing to the achievement of pharmacy goals and objectives.
  • Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, representing the pharmacy positively to customers and colleagues.
  • Confidentiality Compliance: Maintain compliance with company and HIPAA patient confidentiality requirements, ensuring the privacy and security of patient information.
  • Assistance with Prescription Filling: May be required to assist with prescription filling as needed, supporting pharmacy operations during peak periods or staffing shortages.

Education and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Completion of high school education or equivalent qualification.
  • Current Pharmacy Technician License: Possession of a valid Pharmacy Technician License is required. Candidates must maintain an active license throughout employment.

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
