Overview

We are actively looking for a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at our state-of-the-art production facility in Collinsville, Illinois. Under general supervision, the Maintenance Supervisor will analyze operational, electrical, and mechanical problems on assigned equipment and take corrective actions consistent with company policies. The Maintenance Supervisor oversees one Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Estimating time and material project costs
• Requisitioning new supplies and equipment
• Coordinates outside contractors for building maintenance, grounds, pest control and equipment repair
• Purchasing repair and maintenance items including parts and preventative maintenance supplies
• Maintain spare parts inventory
• Prioritizes day to day maintenance and repair activity
• Coordinates the preventative maintenance program

Requirements

• High School Diploma with trade or technical education preferred
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in maintaining manufacturing equipment and other production facility assets related to the business and production facility. 
• Trouble shooting skills with OEM interfaces
• PLC experience
• Servo, AC and DC drive knowledge
• Previous leadership and or management experience in manufacturing, maintenance, etc.
• Ability to read and interpret schematic drawings
• Ability to use hand tools and trade tools
• Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Commitment to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principals
• Self-motivated, results-oriented with high level of integrity
• Excellent mechanical skills
• Educated in the National Electric Code (NEC)
• Commercial and Industrial wiring skills including conduit bending
• Plumbing and pipefitting skills a plus
• Computer skills for Microsoft Office (outlook, work and excel)
• Excellent written and verbal skills
