POSITION TITLE: ID&T SYSTEMS & REPORTING STUDENT EMPLOYEE - Federal Work Study
CLASSIFICATION: STUDENT WORKER - PART-TIME (up to 29 HRS/WK)
REPORTS TO: SYSTEMS & REPORTING ANALYST
POSITION SUMMARY
The ID&T Systems & Reporting Student Worker position reports directly to the Systems & Reporting Analyst. The position provides general assistance in the day-to-day operation and maintenance of MyFIRE, SEU’s Learning Platform, and system testing. This position also assists with special projects within ID&T, as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED)
1.Computer Skills – Must have good computer skills, experience with the MyFIRE (BrightSpace) learning platform is helpful, but not required. Experience with the Microsoft suite is helpful, but not required. Training is provided.
2.Accuracy – Must be consistent and detail-oriented.
3.Willingness – Must be flexible to take on new projects and tasks, as needed.
4.Confidentiality – Must be able to handle confidential matters and be professional.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1.Minimum Education Required –enrollment in an Undergraduate program at SEU. Additionally, the student must maintain a 3.0 GPA.
2.Technical – Working knowledge and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and Google tools.
3.Critical Thinking – Strong analytical skills as related to problem-solving and decision-making. 4.Communication – Excellent interpersonal skills and presentation skills, especially written and oral communications, customer-service, and the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical users.
5.Interpersonal Skills – Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
