Settlers Bay Lodge is looking for an experienced banquet bartender/server. Must be knowledgeable in cocktails, and possess the ability to remain calm in high stress situations. We have cultivated a team oriented environment that relies heavily on collaboration and communication.

This is a part time position. Work is based upon event booking and restaurant needs. The right candidate filling this position has potential for full time employment, cross training, and advancement opportunities.

Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Craft and serve cocktails
• Deliver food and drinks in a timely and efficient manner.
• Effectively communicate with Guests about food recommendations, diet restrictions, or any other needs.
• Deliver attentive and respectful services to guests.
• Be able to appropriately handle complaints or problems in a positive, and professional manner.
• Utilize the POS system.
• Handle customer checks, receipts, and cash.
• Assist buffet set up and break down.
• Complete all side work in accordance with restaurant procedure including tasks such as silverware rollups, and general housekeeping of serving stations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Applicant must be 21 years or older.
• Preferred 2 years of pervious restaurant experience.
• Able to meet the physical demands of working in a busy restaurant/kitchen.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills.
• Organized and capable of multi-tasking with attention to detail.
• Enjoys and works well with being part of a team.

Compensation: Minimum Wage Tips
