Description

Workdays: Monday - FridayWorks Hours: 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.Location: 1115 Mission Rd., San Antonio, TX. 78210
Mission: Seton Home works to break the cycle of abuse and poverty by providing a caring home, education, and support services necessary to transform the lives of pregnant and parenting teen mothers and their children.

Summary: Manages the planning, development, and implementation of Seton Home client recruitment and community outreach strategies. Increases knowledge of Seton Home’s work with existing stakeholders in the community while creating new collaborations. Provides aftercare case management and service coordination for previous residents of Seton Home and their families.

Position Responsibilities:

  • · *Responsible for creating, implementing, and measuring the success of client recruitment and community outreach efforts.
  • · *Work with agency leadership and the Mission Advancement team to develop client and community focused marketing, communications, and public relations activities and materials including publications, direct mail, media relations, parish and church bulletins, social media, website, online marketing, and donor acquisition.
  • · *Facilitate collaborations between Seton Home and shelters, churches, social service agencies, and school programs.
  • · *Serve as liaison with shelters, homeless serving providers, community-based referral sources and stakeholders.
  • · *Knowledgably present on agency services at events and meetings.
  • · Collaborate with homelessness prevention service providers to identify clients appropriate for agency services.
  • · Coordinate on campus events and opportunities for community engagement.
  • · Screen potential clients for eligibility criteria.
  • · Serve as point of contact for previous residents in efforts to connect them to needed resources.
  • · Track needs and outcomes for aftercare clients.
  • · Other duties as assigned by Program Director or Vice President of Programs

Travel Requirements:

Travel requirements for the position includes 85% local and 5% overnight.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

· Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

· Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in mission driven outreach, case management or related areas
  • Experience in deadline driven environments.

· License and Credentials

  • Reliable transportation
  • Valid driver license
  • Valid vehicle insurance

Minimum Knowledge and Skills:

  • Must be proficient in use of computer software including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be detail oriented, organized, and self-motivated.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Must be comfortable speaking in front of large groups.
  • Must have good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to work well independently and in a team environment.
  • Must be able to handle multiple assignments at once.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of Catholic Social teaching and parish protocols.
  • Must be able and willing to work many evenings and/or weekend hours as needed.
