The Opportunity
As a middle school English teacher, you'll be vital in providing academic, emotional, and physical support to students who require extra assistance to thrive in school.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Meet the needs of all students by utilizing SESI instructional models, strategies, and curriculum
  • Develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans
  • Utilize the school's behavior management and intervention strategies; supervise students and ensure they are monitored at all times
  • Establish and maintain student forms and files as required by SESI, local, state, and federal agencies
  • Drive, record, and track student growth and progress toward academic, social, and emotional goals
  • Other duties may be assigned


The Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution of higher learning Required
  • Valid NJ Teaching Credential Required
  • Mustbe legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Dedicated to helping kids work through academic, social, and emotional challenges
  • A strong team approach that can flourish in a fast-paced educational setting
