Data Analytics Intern

Hybrid from Reston, VA

ROLE DESCRIPTION
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Engineering Team here at SES Space & Defense where we are driven by our passion to deliver best-in-class satellite network solutions, products, and services!

Based in our Reston, VA office, you will support our Engineering team with a number of tasks to include assembling data to support deep dives and other analytical projects. You should be prepared to work in a diverse team with a readiness to highlight your ability to analyze and present complex data!

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in gathering pertinent material for presentations
• Utilize multiple analytics platforms to complete daily tasks
• Create and enhance reports
• Partner with other team members to analyze key business initiatives

YOUR PROFILE
Must Haves

• Rising junior or senior in an undergraduate program
• Familiarity with data visualization tools & techniques
• Foundational experience in data science technologies like Python, R, Spark, SQL, Power BI, and Tableau
• High energy and "can-do" attitude
• Able to work in United States
• Fluency in spoken and written English

Nice to Haves

• Financial background or experience
• Prior experience building dynamic PowerBI dashboards
