Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized File Manager to join our team. As a File Manager, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining physical and digital files, ensuring accurate and efficient record-keeping. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Duties:
- Organize and maintain physical and digital files in a systematic manner
- Create and update file indexes, ensuring easy retrieval of documents
- Perform data entry tasks to input information into databases or spreadsheets
- Assist with calendar management, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings
- Support event planning activities, including logistics coordination and materials preparation
- Answer phone calls and provide customer support, addressing inquiries or directing calls as needed
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth workflow and efficient file management
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in accordance with company policies
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a File Manager or in a similar administrative role preferred
- Familiarity with file management systems and procedures
- Proficiency in computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience in a restoration industry is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.55 - $22.34 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
