SERVPRO®of Tri-County and the Mountains Construction Manager

Servpro provides 24/7 emergency service and restoration support minimizing business interruption or displacement for commercial, industrial, and residential clients affected by property damage caused by fire, water, storm or other disasters. We service eight counties in northeast Georgia to provide fast, dependable, emergency response to all our customers.

We are currently seeking a Construction Manager to respond to and oversee commercial, and residential restoration projects after water damage, fire, smoke & mold damage, etc.

The Construction Manager is responsible for services on site at the job from start to finish including entering the job into the correct systems, writing estimates for the job when necessary, coordinating with the manager to schedule crews to complete the work, and communicating with the customer and the insurance adjuster.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall quality and coordination of work performed, client interface, and utilization of resources.
  • Ensure an accurate scope of work for projects.
  • Negotiate adjustor approval for necessary services.
  • Monitor, follow-up, and modify needs for job performance.
  • Respond promptly to customer requests and concerns.
  • Manage and use resources for best results on jobs.
  • Review job site documentation to support the services provided and ensure proper client requirements and billing process.
  • Maintain written communication with customers, teammates, vendors and insurance representatives.
  • Troubleshoot any issues that arise and work with department manager to apply solutions.
  • Successfully complete projects to maximize profit and client satisfaction.
  • Follow and oversee safe work practices and adherence to safety and risk management guidelines at all times.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Necessary Experience and Skill Set

  • Previous construction management experience.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to meet established production goals and maintain profitability.
  • Effective written and oral communication.

Formal Education/Training

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred

Physical and Work Environment Requirements
Walking and/or standing throughout the day. Frequent driving and sitting. Occasionally climbing ladders. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme conditions such as heat. The noise level in the work environment and jobsites can be loud.
Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours, and Travel Requirements
This is a full-time position, working 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week. This position frequently requires long hours, working on-call, and weekend work. Travel is required and is primarily local. However, some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
