SERVPRO of Palm Springs is Hiring a Construction Estimator Near Warren, OH

SERVPRO is looking for a Construction Estimator, As an estimator you will be expected to provide support to sales people, while also becoming part of the sales process after learning the industry on the job. This role is full time and offers competitive wages, commission, and benefits, and has great opportunities for growth within the company.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provide support by creating quotes and estimates for existing and new customers.
  • Communicate via telephone and email with both vendors and customers throughout the quotation process
  • Ability to keep detailed records of all past and current quotations in company database
  • Learn all facets of the companies’ manufacturing, quoting, purchasing, and sales process
  • Create and work with sketches and initial scope of work for construction projects.
  • Deliver a consistent and well-defined initial estimate.
  • Recognize project constraints and/or needed upgrades.
  • Work with Project Manager to price bid items, if needed.
Project Planning:
  • Identify and document finalized project scope of work.
  • Work with outside resources as necessary to complete accurate estimate (i.e
  • Structural Engineers, ITEL, Electrical Inspectors, etc.).
  • Assemble accurate and well-organized estimates.
  • Deliver and communicate estimate to Reconstruction Project Manager.
Necessary Experience and Skill Set:
  • 2 years previous construction estimating and/or insurance adjusting experience
  • Proficient use of Xactimate™ estimating software
  • Experience with Excel and Word is required for this position
  • Customer focused, results oriented
  • Time management skills
  • Professional demeanor and attire
  • Must have a good driving record
