Construction Technician

We are looking for detail-oriented individuals to join our rebuild/reconstruction team as construction technicians. This is a great opportunity for those looking to expand their skills in the restoration industry.

We build teams with people holding themselves to a high standard and who care about the quality of work they produce and its impact on their team members and the customers we serve. Duties can include installation of flooring, drywall, and finish carpentry.

A successful candidate would be physically fit, have a keen understanding of safety practices and protective equipment, power tools and be able to read blueprints. Ultimately a construction technician should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

This is not an entry level position and previous experience is required.

Construction Technician Responsibilities:

  • Experience in general construction is required.
  • Drywall installation and painting
  • Floor installation: carpet, vinyl, wood, laminate, and tile
  • Finish carpentry
  • Completing all construction projects according to scope.
  • Accounting for hours and materials used.
  • Prepare rooms/areas for work activities.
  • Leave job site with clean and orderly.
  • Adhering to personal safety standards by wearing the appropriate protective gear and using the right equipment.
  • Inventory and load/unload work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project.
  • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle along with clean equipment.
  • Previous restoration experience is a plus!

Restoration Technician Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Excellent working knowledge of hand and power tools.
  • Physical fitness.
  • Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
  • Social awareness.
  • Good math skills.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • A valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.

We are an IICRC certified restoration company.

All offers of employment are contingent on the successful completion of a post offer background check, motor vehicle report and state level drug test.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
