Servpro of Cullman/Blount Counties is currently hiring! We are growing and assembling a team that prides itself on doing great work and striving to exceed the expectations of our customers. If you are the type of person who likes to tackle a new project each day, work with a great team while helping others, then this Restoration Technician position is for you.
The position requires a a hard worker that is ready to help the community in their time of need.
A few of the primary job functions are as follows:
  • Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, supplies, equipment needed for each project. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and clean equipment appearance.
  • Prepare rooms and areas for work activities (moving furniture, setting up containment and placing equipment that could weigh up to 100 lbs)
  • Perform production processes as directed, such as using power tools, removing drywall, flooring, insulation and cabinetry.
  • Adhere to safety and risk management guidelines at all times.
  • Communicate with crew chief and other technicians to maintain efficient production processes
  • Perform end of the day cleanup and breakdown in order to leave the jobsite with a clean and orderly appearance.
  • Learn to use monitoring technology and mitigation software.
Position Requirements are as follows:
  • Self Motivated
  • Effective oral communication 
  • Basic math skills
  • Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs regularly, occasionally up to 100 lbs with assistance
  • Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (attics and crawl spaces)
  • Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift carry objects
  • Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals
  • Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
