We are seeking a skilled Restoration Technician to join our team. As a Restoration Technician, you will be responsible for restoring properties that have been damaged by water, fire, or mold. This is a hands-on role that requires knowledge of restoration techniques and the ability to use power and hand tools effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform water damage restoration tasks, including extracting water, drying affected areas, and removing damaged materials
  • Conduct mold remediation procedures to remove and prevent the growth of mold
  • Handle fire restoration projects, including cleaning soot and smoke damage, deodorizing the area, and rebuilding affected structures
  • Utilize power tools and hand tools to demolish and rebuild damaged areas
  • Clean carpets and upholstery using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment
  • Ensure all work is completed according to industry standards and safety guidelines
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used

Position Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license

Physical Demands/Competencies

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
  • Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
  • Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
  • Ability to work with/around cleaning agents
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable la

Skills:
-Strong knowledge of restoration industry practices and techniques
-Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for demolition, construction, and cleaning purposes
-Experience with mold remediation procedures and equipment
-Familiarity with water damage restoration techniques, including extraction and drying methods
-Ability to work in physically demanding environments and lift heavy objects as needed
-Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
-Strong problem-solving skills to address unexpected challenges during restoration projects
