Job brief
We are looking for a Warehouse Worker to participate in our warehouse operations and activities. Warehouse Worker responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing and scanning orders. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction. Must be 21 or older. CDL not required.
Responsibilities
Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
Complete diary logs into inventory
Report any discrepancies
Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
Pickups/Deliveries: - Assists front office with scheduling of donations and delivery in safe and timely manner. - Goes over route the day before, making any necessary changes, and notifies Logistics Manager of changes. - Verify the contents of inventory loads (pickup/delivery) against shipping papers and/or Connection Report: Ensure a Connection Report is prepared and signed by both the office and donor, leaving a copy for the Donor’s record. - Greets clients/donors and maintains a positive reflection of Services of Hope. - Maintains a professional relationship with clients and has clients sign form indicating that they have received the items. Notifies the Operations Manager or the President of any client irregularities. Will help to load and unload trucks, to and from warehouse and to and from donation sights and clients homes using good safety techniques and proper equipment
Requirements and skills
Proven working experience as a Warehouse Worker
Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems
Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
