We believe skills and experience are transferrable, and the desire to dream big makes for great candidates.Job DescriptionResponsibilities Manage, monitor and manipulate the server farm behind ServiceNow cloudWork directly on or with the servers to enable and optimize capacity utilization for the ServiceNow customer baseEnhance processes and tools necessary to simplify and provide consistent project executionProvide proactive management and innovation to ensure 100% success of ServiceNow cloud automation QualificationsRequiredExperience using the ServiceNow platformUnderstanding of SQL and database conceptsDNS,DHCP and PXE bootIntermediate to advance network troubleshootingExperience in one (or more) scripting languages- JavaScript, Python, Perl, Unix Shell, Power ShellExperience in incident, problem, change management, knowledge-base management, defect & escalation managementTeam collaboration and fit is essentialBasic understanding of enterprise class server hardwareExperience in deploying bare metal serversSomeone with Australian citizenship (preferably with Baseline Clearance)PreferredMinimum five (5) years providing customer facing technical support (Web based products or e-commerce preferred)Basic understanding of ServiceNow asset managementStorage configuration concepts, configuration, and experiencePuppet understanding and configuration managementCoding in various languages, we usually prefer Unix Shell, Python, C, C or JavaScriptAbility to work in shifts or do on-callMonitoring of large and scalable systems, applications and networksMinimum RequirementsUniversity graduate with a Computer Science degree or equivalent.Strong interpersonal communication skills are essential.Note: This position requires the Australian Baseline Security Clearance. If offered employment, you must be willing to complete and successfully pass the adjudication process.
