We provide a world class platform with a deep focus on scalability, reliability, and observability to operate and grow alongside the needs of our business units and customers. We are continually introducing new services to meet market needs and as we scale, we are moving to container-based provisioning and deployment models using Kubernetes. The Role: We are looking for an experienced and deeply technical Product Manager who is passionate about providing a world-class Kubernetes environment. You will be the Product lead for the Kubernetes Fabric that internal teams can deploy and operate their container-based workloads on. This Kubernetes Fabric runs within the ServiceNow managed cloud and public clouds to serve the needs of commercial and regulated industries. This role is highly collaborative, working with product managers, internal customers, and experienced engineers to build high quality services and provide expert guidance to teams that are moving to container-based deployments. What you get to do in this role: Deliver Customer Value Serve your primary customers who are internal ServiceNow teams deploying container-based services and applications Collaborate closely with ServiceNow business units to understand their needs and power their new products and capabilities deployed on the Kubernetes Fabric Evangelize the Kubernetes Fabric capabilities to drive awareness, enablement, and adoption Create exceptional developer and operations experiences that allow teams to successfully deploy and support their workloads Become a domain expert by understanding the latest industry trends, open-source technologies, and market analysis to define product requirements that map to clear customer value Provide Team Leadership Establish the vision and product strategy for a highly visible, mission critical new Kubernetes Fabric Work across product and engineering teams to establish common usage patterns and provide enablement Manage various stakeholders and communicate product priorities and build consensus Work with cross-functional teams to execute on the product roadmap and manage dependencies Assume leadership responsibilities as an accountable owner who is committed to the outcome regardless of the role or organizational boundaries Have a Significant Impact Own the vision and product strategy for a new set of services that are the future of the ServiceNow platform Help define and drive the future of platform shared services, including deployment topologies, commercial aspects, and cost to serve considerations Be part of a high-performing Product team that is accountable, empowered, and works together to deliver outcomes that matter Influence other product teams by being the expert in your domain .QualificationsTo be successful in this role you have:12 years of Product Management experience or equivalent in a technical role Experience building and operating enterprise-class services as part of a highly scalable platform Domain expertise in Kubernetes and the supporting ecosystem of tools and open-source technologies A strategic mindset to define product vision and strategy that delivers strong customer value and produces business outcomes Strong prioritization skills that are data-driven and based on market needs Demonstrated experience owning an actionable product roadmap and driving execution Ability to inspire and align engineering teams to deliver exceptional experiences Technical savvy and experience working with developers and architects to build scalable and highly reliable services that are part of a larger platform Business savvy with a track record of delivering impactful business outcomes Bonus: experience running services in regulated markets that require stringent compliance and certifications such as FedRAMP.#ProductjobsFor positions in the Bay Area, we offer a base pay of $181,100 - $316,900, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs (subject to eligibility requirements).
