Job Description

Restoration technicians work in homes and buildings that have been damaged by fire, water, mold, or weather. They extract water, clean and dry carpet, repair structures that have been damaged by mold, decontaminate and deodorize a space, remove debris, and demolish parts of the structure that cannot be repaired.

Minimize the damage from water, fire, storm, or flood disaster. Respond to the emergency in a precise and timely manner. Mitigate damage and began disaster cleanup immediately.

Our company is ServiceMaster Restoration by Empire, we deal with disaster restoration services and have jobs throughout the valley.

Desired Skills:

· High level of integrity and commitment to the work
· Excellent customer service skills
· Minimum one year experience in residential & commercial restoration for water, fire, smoke, and mold damage
· I.I.C.R.C. certifications preferred
· Bilingual (Read Write Speak) English & Spanish
· Works well in a team environment

General Construction Laborer Key Responsibilities & Duties:

· Operate and care for construction equipment, tools and machines
· Help equipment operator, carpenters, and other skilled labor when necessary
· Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards
· Load or unload construction materials
· Follow instructions from supervisors
· Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary
· Perform site clean-up

General Construction Laborer Standards of Performance Requirements:

· Must have a valid driver license
· Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks, must be able to lift about 50 lbs
· Workers must be punctual and reliable
· Must have one year experience minimum as a restoration general laborer in the construction industry.
· Perform water extraction and pack-out of contents
· Remove and dispose of any non-salvageable flooring that was affected by the water loss
· Perform construction demolition
· Perform hard surface cleaning
· Ability to work overtime hours as required
· Must be able to be on call for emergency jobs (nights & weekends on rotating schedule).
· Must consent to pre-employment screening including a drug test and a background check if offered a position with the company.

· Willing to learn mobile applications required for the job

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekends as needed

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Construction: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
