Duties and responsibilities
- Conducts initial damage assessment walkthrough with client and attend meetings with clients, adjusters, consultants, and necessary representatives where needed
- Develops and implement scope of loss with client or adjuster
- Completes site specific safety plan
- Provides accurate, updated, and timely scope of project to supervisors
- Processes asbestos survey or necessary testing to ensure compliance of any and all state or federal laws
- Acquire or sketch floor plan and schematic of facility (where available) to ensure progress maps are completed
- Obtain contract and formal authorization to perform immediate or emergency services or change orders
- Develop and implement Critical Path Management (CPM) plan to address the client’s needs
- Evaluate crew size, material and equipment needs
- Processes material and equipment orders
- Procure subcontractors, vendors and temporary laborers as needed
- Confirms required training meetings have been conducted and logged before starting the project: Site Safety, HazCom, Right to Know, and Confined Space
- Maintain project schedule (scope) developed with owner and insurance company
- Maintain the project budget and review with client daily if required
- Confirm subcontractor agreement has been signed and provide corresponding certificate of insurance
- Approve subcontractor bids and invoices
- Assign job tasks to Supervisors and hold them accountable for quality and daily quantity
- Maintain the proper ratio of Supervisor to technicians and temporary laborers on commercial jobs
- Oversee the documentation of all costs associated with the project.
- Conduct project meetings with Supervisors and field clerk outlining the scope of work or changes in the scope of the work
- Ensure all paperwork is completed according to project specifics and RSI policies
- Ensure PMR & progress maps are sent out daily and distributed to assigned parties (includes photo reports)
- Establish Matterport sketch as needed
- Obtain statement of satisfaction form from client at the completion or project
- Verify invoicing schedule with client and follow up on outstanding payments
- Ensure fluid and efficient project closure and demobilization
- Ensure all rental equipment is returned
- Discuss all site-specific rules with the client and ensure these rules are followed in addition to all RSI personal conduct policies
- Ensure photo documentation on each project is completed as necessary for each project
- Responds to customer inquiries, concerns, and provides recap on all communication promptly
- Ensure that equipment is tracked and managed according to RSI policy
- Negotiate pricing and rates with vendors
- Review and approve purchase requests and approve job coded purchases
- Monitor and review job costs and cost tracking to ensure optimal margins
- Complete Credit Card usage report
- Upsell additional services at a project level
- Maintain and develop relationships with new and existing clients

Qualifications
Experience in estimating
Must be able to be a team leader
Knowledge or experience in planning and defining scopes
Ability to complete projects in a timely manner
Must have good communication skills
Must be able to identify and remediate safety issues on a jobsite
Customer Service skills
Valid Driver’s License
Requirements
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, MS Project, Excel) and other computer software. Must also have a functional understanding of handheld smart devices and an aptitude for learning new technology and all applicable software as determined.
Detail oriented
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficient knowledge of heavy equipment (Scissor Lift, Boom Lift, Skid steer, Telescopic forklift, Warehouse forklift)
Set-up and break down of Generators and desiccants
Proficient knowledge of all restoration related equipment (Portable equipment, Truck Mounts, Walk-behind extractor)
Proficient in Restore 365
Resolve issues with staff and labor
Possess and maintain a clean driving record
Able to travel 50% of the year
Must be able to stay on a job site for more than 4 weeks possibly longer
Must be able to work 12 hours per day, and 7 days a week
