Overview

We are looking for a Application Security Program Manager with a strong background in application security who can bring their experience to improve the state of security at ServiceLink. As an application security program manager on the ServiceLink Information Security Team, you will play a key role in advancing security by partnering with other program managers, security engineers, developers, and customers to provide guidance and best practices, automate security, make secure development and deployment easier and ensure we exceed industry cyber security standards.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

In this role, you will…

• Track tasks and drive projects to completion, balancing scope, schedule, competing priorities, project risks, and communications
• Develop security documentation, training, and guidance for internal infrastructure and engineering teams
• Work closely with all teams throughout ServiceLink to protect our customers
• Work closely with compliance and audit teams to ensure security requirements are met
• Identify and implement security technical and process improvements (SDLC)
• Define and own metrics to determine effectiveness of security controls
• Be a champion for security culture and excellence, exercise risk-based judgement and prioritize remediation work

WHO YOU ARE

You possess …

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent experience or education
• 5 years of experience in a consulting, security support, or program management experience
• Management and Leadership experience with a small or large group of employees
• Ability to collaborate with business leaders and their teams to accomplish results
• Ability to understand complex security situations and drive the solution to completion.
• Ability to remain calm and confident in decision making and presentation
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Track tasks and drive projects to completion, balancing scope, schedule, competing priorities, project risks, and communications
• Develop security documentation, training, and guidance for internal infrastructure and engineering teams
• Work closely with all teams throughout ServiceLink to protect our customers
• Work closely with compliance and audit teams to ensure security requirements are met
• Identify and implement security technical and process improvements (SDLC)
• Define and own metrics to determine effectiveness of security controls
• Be a champion for security culture and excellence, exercise risk-based judgement and prioritize remediation work
• Work closing with scrum teams to accomplish security releated work items
• Work with the Release and DevOps teams to include proper security checks in the code deployment process
• Ensure application code is scanned, staticly and dynamicly, for vulnerabilities
• Oversee regular penetration testing and present findings
• Manage, lead and direct employees, contractors individually and as a team
• Train and develop employees to set expectations for high performance standards
• Implement policies and processes as outlined by leadership and the culture of the organization
• Present to leadership the accomplishments, needs, and status of the team and the application security
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent experience or education
• 5 years of experience in a consulting, security support, or program management experience
• Experience with Microsoft Azure
• Experience with Container security platforms
• Experience with agile development methodologies
• Current security certification (e.g. CEH, CISSP, etc.) is a PLUS
• Self-starter and self-motivated
• Ability to remain calm and confident in decision making and presentation
• Must be creative and maintain effective problem solving skills
• Ability to work on/manage multiple tasks concurrently
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• 5 years of Leadership and management experience
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
