Job Description
Summary of Responsibilities :
The primary purpose of the Early Intervention Service Coordinator position is to provide service coordination to infants and toddlers with developmental delays and their families through a comprehensive program of integrated services.
Service Coordinators assist families in linking with community resources while offering support and guidance in child development.
Service Coordinators serve as a bridge between families and providers, ensuring that the families' needs are being met, the coaching model is being observed and providers are working within the child's natural environment.
The Service Coordinators ensure that providers have the support and the documentation required to serve the child and family.
The Service Coordinators also ensure that there is a plan in place for the family before the child ages out of the Early Intervention program.
Essential Functions :

notify all interested parties of meeting dates and times.
Demonstrate knowledge in accordance with OCDEL Standards and Professionalism, Child Development, Family Professional Partnerships, Teaming, Assessments and Evaluation, Planning, and Intervention.

Education and Experience :
Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Psychology, or a related field and 1-year experience working with or providing counseling to children, families or individuals with disabilities.
An associate degree or 60 credit hours in Early Intervention, Early Childhood Special Education, Psychology, or a related field plus 3 years of working full time with or providing counseling with children, families, or individuals with disabilities or Certification by the PA Civil Service Commission meeting the qualification of a Caseworker 2 or 3.
Employment Requirements :
Automobile and Valid Insurance, Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License, acceptable Motor Vehicle Record Check, Act 33 and Act 34 Clearances, FBI Fingerprint Clearance, Social Security Card, Immigration and Naturalization (I-9), Drug Screening Clearance
Working Conditions :
Prolonged periods working on a computer in an open office environment, comfortable communicating through virtual technology, ability to travel throughout the region, travel may be in adverse weather conditions, and must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
