Serva Group is Hiring a Welder I Near Catoosa, OK

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for various types of weld preparation, welding, and weld finishing operations to manufacture and repair components for equipment being serviced or manufactured at SERVA. Can read/follow engineering drawings, specifications, and other forms of instruction.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
This position is responsible for all the following:
 Perform duties of a Pre Paint technician as required.
 Proficient in some SERVA used Welding Techniques.
 Ability to read and interpret mechanical and weldment drawings.
 Ability to read and interpret precision measuring devices.
 Is able to perform basic welding equipment maintenance.
 Enforces all company safety policies and procedures.
 Enforces all client-required safety policies and procedures.
 Complies with all company policies and procedures and safety requirements, including crewmember discipline and documentation.
 Accepts other assignments as required.
 Perform special projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS:
• High School diploma/GED.
• Up to 1 year of Flux Core and MIG welding experience.
• Experience with Hard Wire welding a plus.
• Successfully working to be prepared for SERVA’s weld tests.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Customer Service Oriented.
• Self-motivated and can work with moderate direction and mentoring.
• Personal motivation for success.
• Good written and oral communication skills.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• The performance of this position will require exposure to areas which require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toe shoes and other mandatory safety equipment.
