Security Officer
Location: McKinney, TX, 75069
Job Description:
The Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, customers, and visitors. The officer will be required to patrol the premises, monitor surveillance equipment, and respond to any security incidents that may occur. The officer will also be responsible for enforcing company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws.
Responsibilities:
- Patrol the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
- Monitor surveillance equipment and alarms, and respond to any security incidents that may occur.
- Enforce company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws.
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Texas driver's license.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to handle stressful situations and emergencies.
- Previous security experience preferred.
