Serra Whelan Chevrolet is Hiring a Collision Estimator Near Sterling, MI

Are you ready to take your career in the Fixed Ops field of the automotive industry to the next level? We are looking for an experienced Collision Estimator with a strong work ethic and positive attitude to join our award-winning and growing team!

This is a full-time, Monday-Friday, commission-based position with paid vacation, 401K, healthcare, and many more benefits!

Collision Estimator Responsibilities:

  • Writing estimates on vehicles in CCC One or Mitchell Connect
  • Appraise vehicle damage to determine repair costs for customers and insurance companies
  • Examine customer damaged vehicles to determine the extent of structural, body, mechanical, electrical, or interior damage
  • Monitor Repair Orders to ensure vehicle repairs are on schedule
  • Submit and monitors appraisals of vehicle damage to DRP, non-DROP insurance companies, and customers for approvals
  • Review vehicle damage and confirm appraisals are written in compliance with dealership and DRP guidelines.

Collision Estimator Requirements:

  • Applicant must have at least 1 year of collision estimating experience
  • Be proficient in CCC One and/or Mitchell Connect
  • Obtain strong customer service skills
