Job Summary:
Serra Rochester Hills is seeking a skilled and experienced Body Shop Estimator to join our team in Rochester Hills, Michigan. This individual will be responsible for providing accurate and detailed estimates for vehicle repairs and working closely with our technicians to ensure quality workmanship. This is a full-time position with a competitive base salary and commission structure.

Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze information from the vehicle owner, insurance companies, and technicians to accurately estimate the cost of repairs
- Create detailed and itemized estimates for labor, parts, and materials required for the repair
- Communicate with vehicle owners and insurance companies to explain the estimate and answer any questions
- Work with the shop manager to ensure repairs are completed within the estimated time frame and budget
- Inspect completed repairs to ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate and organized records of estimates and repairs
- Keep up-to-date on industry trends and technologies related to vehicle repairs
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, technical school or degree in related field is a plus
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a body shop estimator
- Strong understanding of vehicle repair processes, labor costs, and materials
- Proficient in using estimating software and computer skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
