We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Automotive Parts Counterman to join our team. Responsibilities :

• Assist customers, both in-person and over the phone, with their automotive parts needs and inquiries.
• Utilize a computerized inventory system to locate, order, and track automotive parts.
• Provide accurate and detailed information regarding pricing, availability, and compatibility of parts.
• Collaborate with service technicians and other staff members to ensure the timely fulfillment of parts orders.
• Maintain a clean and organized parts department, including proper storage and labeling of parts.
• Process transactions, including receiving and processing payments, as well as issuing refunds or credits when necessary.
• Assist with inventory management, including regular stock checks, reconciliations, and restocking shelves as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with new automotive parts and industry trends through continuous learning and training.

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent. Additional technical training or certification in automotive parts is preferred.
• Previous experience working as an Automotive Parts Counterman or in a related role within the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and components, including familiarity with various vehicle makes and models.
• Proficiency in using computerized inventory management systems and point-of-sale software.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to assist customers effectively and build positive relationships.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks related to the job.
