The Children's Outpatient Program at Serna Solutions aims to improve the lives of New Mexico's youngest citizens by helping them with behavioral or emotional problems at home or school. Specifically by working with young people and their families to address behavioral or emotional health symptoms that are putting obstacles in their way. The Children's Outpatient Program specifically serves youth up to 11 years old with child and family centered therapy modalities.

Minimum qualifications include:

• Licensure as a non-independent Master’s level behavioral health clinician (LMHC, LAMFT and LMSW) OR
• Licensure as an independent Master’s level behavioral health clinician (LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, PsyD, PhD)

Preferred qualification include:

Training in one or more Evidence Based Practice (MI, CRA, DBT, Seeking Safety, EMDR, MBSEP, Brainspotting, etc.) Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the general direction of the clinical director/clinical supervisor the clinician will be responsible for:

• Provide psycho-therapeutic and psycho-educational services to individuals, families, and groups;
• Provide individual therapeutic counseling to clients as assigned by the director;
• Provide clinical documentation such as treatment plans, assessments, and clinical notes;
• Attend program staffing and clinical staffing to participate in client progress reports and professional development;
• Report relevant information in a timely manner to clinical supervisor and/or program director;
• Provide case management to link clients with supportive services and provides follow up to referring agency;
• Operates within compliance with related federal, state and local regulations;
• Provides direct clinical and case management services; and provides administrative support;
• Contact clients directly for the purposes of scheduling, follow up and case management;
• Provide crisis intervention, as needed;
• Provide training to other clinicians inside and outside of the organization as assigned;
• Minimum of 15 billable hours of service per week within six months of contract;
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Compensation range: $40-50 per billable hour and $30-$40 per admininstrative hour based on experience and preferred qualifications
