Serenity Mesa Recovery Center is an adolescent sober living and recovery center in Albuquerque, NM, under the ownership and direction of Healing Addiction in our Community (HAC), a New Mexico non-profit corporation. Residents enter this program after completing drug rehabilitation and/or detoxification, for the purpose of ongoing recovery and transitional services.

The Behavioral Health Tech's primary responsibility is to work with other direct support staff on duty to help meet the needs of the residents, develop and maintain a positive, healthy relationship with the residents and to ensure the overall safety and security of the property. This position reports to the Behavioral Health Tech Supervisor. Benefits to include health care and paid time off are available.

Duties of a Behavioral Health Tech include, but are not limited to:

• room searches and "people" searches
• active engagement and participation with program residents in their assigned tasks and chores
• cooking, cleaning, maintenance of the property, yard work, running errands, taking residents on field trips, grocery shopping, etc.
• transporting residents to work, school, and other off-site activities

Qualifications

• Experience working with at-risk youth desirable
• MUST be able to pass CYFD background check AND a driving record check
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Current part time shift available
• We have 4 X 10's or 3 X 12's available with at least one weekend day off each week set schedule.
