Mission Statement
The mission of Willamette Ear, Nose, Throat and Facial Plastic Surgery is to treat all of its patients with state of the art care in a professional, confidential, and courteous manner, and to provide an atmosphere to its employees that leads to teamwork and a positive work experience.

1. To serve our patients and referring physicians in a courteous, professional, and confidential manner so they know they are valued.
2. To promote regular preventative care in our office so that our patients and employees can enjoy a lifetime of good health.

4. To hire and staff the medical office with highly motivated employees who are team oriented and positive. To provide an enjoyable atmosphere for them to work.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Greet all patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner. Inform applicable medical staff of patient arrival.
2. Obtain required information from patients and annotate appropriate records. Be knowledgeable about insurance coverage and various copays associated with different plans. Take insurance information and medical cards from patients and copy for the records. Update their database.
3. Answer telephone inquiries, route calls, take messages, as required. Direct incoming calls to appropriate party in accordance with clinic directives. Maintain a thorough understanding of all the features of the installed telephone system and utilize the features as appropriate.
4. Comply with established clinic policies, procedures, and directives regarding personnel, safety, quality assurance, environmental and infection control.
5. Manage physicians' patient schedules, Annotate new appointments, cancellations, and changes. Verify all scheduled appointments with patients as prescribed by the clinic operating procedures or guidance.
Send recalls as directed. Manage daily office/surgery schedule.
6. Attend meetings, educational programs, and seminars as directed.
7. Perform maintenance duties such as straightening up the waiting rooms and update magazines.
8. Work collaboratively with the business office to collect on accounts.
9. Perform other duties as directed.
Accountability
Supervisor from the Front Office, Manager for the Business Office, or the Administrator of Willamette Ear, Nose, Throat, and Facial Plastic Surgery
Requirements
1. Minimum of a high school diploma or completion of equivalent education level is required.
2. Previous medical office experience or certificate of completion in a related field of study is preferred.
3. Must be willing to handle multiple tasks, inquiries and calls, stresses fluxes in workload, and/or encounters with patients who are angry, impatient, and/or unstable.
4. Must be flexible with scheduled hours.
5. Must be willing to work in a team-oriented environment assuring that the work in the front office is completed on a timely basis.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
