Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide support and assistance to individuals in need. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities and promoting their independence.
Duties:
- Provide personal care services such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and cleaning
- Accompany clients to appointments or outings
- Engage in meaningful conversation and provide emotional support
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professional
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or similar role is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with basic caregiving techniques and principles
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others
