Serenity Home Care Facilities is looking for a caregiver who will provide routine daily nursing care to assigned residents in accordance with all standards. This is a 6 bed residential home facility.

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• At least 3 months care-giving experience
• Must have CPR certification upon hire. CPR certification must remain current during employment
• Must have a negative Tb test and physical before scheduled

Specific Job Requirements

• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm as well as willingness to handle difficult clients.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Must be knowledgeable of HIPAA privacy laws and maintain confidential information.
• Maintains professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
• Able to work different shifts and weekends

5:00 - 10:15 am, 5:00 am - 12:15 pm, 5:15 am - 1:15 pm, 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm, 1:15 pm - 9:15 pm, 9:15 pm - 5:15 am shifts.

Approx. 24-32 hours a week. At least 2 weekends a month. Full time will be available soon.

Essential Functions

• Must be able to safely lift, turn, push, pull, reposition, and transport patients 50 lbs and over.
• Must be able to assist clients with ADLs: showers, personal grooming, feeding, and toileting, etc
• Prepare and serve meals as well as light housekeeping.
• Able to accurately document and chart client care.
• Take Vital signs and willing to complete on job training for medication administration.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients, staff, and family.
• Must be able to assist in the evacuation of patients.
• Must demonstrate dependable and regular attendance.
• Must be able to concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
• Must be able to communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
• Bonuses for attendance, picking up additional shifts and staff appreciation.
