Serenity Healthcare is Hiring a Medical Accounts Receivable Specialist Near Colorado, CO
- Be the primary contact answering payers and patients' questions related to billing, refund requests, appeals, etc.
- Follow up on Underpaid/Overpaid claims ensuring allowed pricing is according to contract
- Write appeals using established guidelines to resolve claim denials with a goal of one contact resolution
- Research account denials to ensure appropriate reimbursement
- Resolve pre-submission claim edit errors to reduce or prevent claim denial
- Identify trends causing slow payment and work with manager to reduce aging AR
- Meet quality and production standards set by Serenity
- Additional duties as assigned
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to be on the phone for long periods of time
- Experience with Microsoft Suite of office products
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
- 1 year of Medical Billing and claims resolution experience preferred
- Excellent Oral and Written communication
- Desire to learn and understand new concepts
