Serenity Health Care Services is Hiring a Childcare Provider Near Staten Island, NY

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team. As a Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for children. Your role will involve engaging in educational activities, ensuring their well-being, and promoting their social and emotional development.

Duties:
- Provide attentive care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate cognitive, physical, and social development
- Create a structured daily routine that includes playtime, learning activities, meals, and rest periods
- Foster positive relationships with children and their families
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, including sanitizing toys and equipment regularly
- Observe children's behavior and document any concerns or milestones
- Collaborate with other childcare providers to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment

Experience:
- Previous experience in early childhood education, infant care, or childcare settings is preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques
- Ability to handle challenging behaviors with patience and empathy
- Experience working with children of various ages (infants, toddlers, preschoolers)
- Previous babysitting or daycare experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
