WAREHOUSE MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Serena & Lily is seeking a warehouse maintenance technician for their distribution in Rincon, GA. The General Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and distribution center facilities including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and electric material handling equipment, etc. and other building/facility systems.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.
• Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs.
• Waters all batteries for material handling equipment, carts, etc.
• Plans repair work using building’s blueprints or equipment manual as needed.
• Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures.
• Performs routine maintenance on building systems, and racks.
• Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities.
• Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and leadership.
• Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.
• Knowledge of mechanics of warehouse equipment.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing and electrical.
• Knowledge and/or experience in fire systems.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Related experience of above required skills/abilities required.
• Warehouse maintenance experience a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing, bending, kneeling, and walking.
• Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

• None

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour, pay will be determined based on experience

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift, Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm
• Must be able to work Saturday’s as needed

Experience:

• Maintenance: 1 year (Required)
• Warehouse Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
