You will be part of a team that works closely with the customer and other Serco teams which have been recognized by the U.S. Navy and the industry for their outstanding contributions to the contract.In this role, you will:

• Receive and ship material.
• Pick parts and materials for outbound deliveries
• Process all transactions in SAP according to standard procedure.
• Create shipping papers using the preferred carriers’ software application.
• Facilitate replenishment process, keep accurate inventory levels.
• Participate in the inventory count process as dictated by policy/procedure.
• Facilitate delivery of parts and materials to meet project/service demand, retain documentation necessary for follow-up and proof of delivery and inventory.
• Perform general housekeeping of the warehouse, enforcing and maintaining safety in the warehouse, adhering to standard warehouse guidelines.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A High School Diploma/GED
• An active DoD Secret security clearance
• Travel up to 25%
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a warehouse in a material handling and logistics function Material handling skills/experience – movement of parts and materials (in boxes) using the appropriate handling equipment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Experience driving a forklift.

Additional desired experience & skills:

• HAZMAT certification

• Forklift certification
