Serco supports the US Navy as a prime for providing engineering and production support on the FFG-62 (Guided Missile Frigate) program. As a Lead Production Engineer, you will a critical part of a skilled group of engineers, analysts, and field technicians with a mission to oversee the production and delivery of the Navy’s FFG’s while working to improve the efficiency and quality of the shipyard’s processes to ensure ship reliability.
You will serve as a linchpin in monitoring production efforts across the ship class, highlighting production issues that could impact cost, schedule, and quality of the ships. You will work closely with PMS 515 Production Officer/PAPM, FFG PMR, and shipyard construction manager to address concerns and lead innovative solutions. Our Navy customer relies heavily on each individual’s skillset to provide support to the program office team as well as Supship and the shipbuilder’s team, all sharing a common goal to successfully build, test and deliver multiple FFGs to the next generation of sailors.
