CNIC Regional Offices enable improving operational performance and cost reductions through business process definition, analysis, and development of technical capabilities which automate process or improve transparency for analytics and decision making. The CNIC N6 Network Administrator shall provide their subject matter expertise to NAVEUR, NAVAF, and 6th Fleet N6, specifically N64 – the Information Assurance (IA) program.

In this role, you will:

• Serve as a technical advisor for the N64 reviewing projects, plans, risks & issues and providing recommendations to the CIO on the best path(s) forward
• Set up, configure, and supports internal and/or external networks
• Develops and maintains all systems, applications, security, and network configurations.
• Perform requirements analysis and documentation, proposal development, design/development/ installation oversight, test plan development / testing oversight, and maintenance oversight of various projects that have switches, routers, networks, and other IT components
• Perform risk mitigation strategies
• Develop various documents such as site survey documents, requirements documents, test documents, white papers, network topology diagrams, boundary diagrams, rack elevations, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Provide support in the development, review and update of work breakdown structures (WBS), project plans, performance work statements (PWS), cost estimates and other related documentation
• Provide support in tracking project schedules, tracking and addressing risks and issues, reviewing of Installation Drawing Packages (IDPs)
• Support project management meetings to include regularly attending management related meetings and developing briefs
• Regularly brief IT project or program stake holders
• Coordinate with facilities related project stakeholders to provide required project changes and recommend the government and industry best practice standards in order for related projects to accommodate current and anticipated NAVEUR/NAVAF/6th Fleet N6 project requirements
• Regularly brief designated Communications Officer (COMMO) on current and upcoming NAVEUR/NAVAF/6th Fleet N6 IT projects when required

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current DoD Top Secret Security Clearance
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
• 5 years of experience (Experience in Network Administration Highly Preferred)
• Security 8570 IAT Level II baseline certification; CCNA or CCNP 8570 IAT Level III preferred

In compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $83,365.11 to $138,941.85; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
