Serco North America is Hiring a CNIC N6 Helpdesk Support Specialist Near Washington, DC

Position Description :

Are you a Helpdesk Support Specialist looking for a place where you can make an impact every day? We have an exciting opportunity supporting the United States Navy and our CNIC N6 program at the Navy Yard in Washington, DC.

CNIC Regional Offices enable improving operational performance and cost reductions through business process definition, analysis, and development of technical capabilities which automate processes or improve transparency for analytics and decision making.

In this role, you will:

  • Document, track and prove status on tickets relating to application, acquisition, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and upgrades of systems and its software, other non-computing office essential systems, telephone/telecom related systems, Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems and cabling infrastructures, or other IT systems as identified.
  • Perform site surveys in support of the application, acquisition, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and upgrades of various IT systems.
  • Initiate, track, and manage Request for Changes (RFCs) required to satisfy user requirements.
  • Provide project-planning support, coordination with stakeholders, requirements gathering support, project monitoring support, and project status reporting for RFCs.
  • Track assignments or allocations of IT systems, its subcomponents and peripherals.
  • Provide support in the initiation, submission, review, approval and processing of account requests.
  • Provide assistance in acquiring or ordering, processing and assignment of account tokens.
  • All other facets of helpdesk support as required.
Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A technical diploma in Information Technology and technical training related to Information Technology, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or another related technical field
  • High school diploma/GED
  • An up to date Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II baseline certification
  • An active DoD Secret clearance
