Large Regional Certified Home Care Company (CHHA) is seeking an LPN to see patients in their homes throughout Westchester only!

The Licensed Practical Nurse provides nursing care and services to clients in their place of residence/facility in accordance with the established plan of care and agency policies and procedures, under the supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Graduate of an approved LPN Program
• NYS Licensed and currently registered as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• One to two years’ experience in the provision of nursing care in an acute care facility, preferred.
• One year home care experience desired.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to perform mathematical operations as related to medication calculations, units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
• Good organization writing, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
