Microchip is seeking an entry-level Applications Engineer to join our team. As an Applications Engineer, you will support and grow the business in the US, Europe, and Asia. Position responsibilities include all aspects of applications engineering including design of system level solutions to meet customer requirements, application software development, testing integrated solutions, developing technical demonstrations of system solutions, and providing, detailed technical proposals to meet customer requirements. You will work with a variety of technologies including GPS/GNSS satellite receiver systems and simulators, packet-based networking, software control and management systems, installation/configuration of virtual machines, and much more!The position will work closely with the product management, solutions architecture, and research and development teams as well as Microchip sales teams and global channel partners to develop technical solutions to meet diverse customer needs.
