Sequoia Behavioral Consultants LLC is Hiring a Mid-Level Supervisor Near Stockton, CA

Under the direction of the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the Mid-level supervisor will provides in-home 1:1 interventions for individuals of a neurodiverse population, provide supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and collaborate with their team (e.g., BCBA and parents) to meet the needs of their clients. Requirements

  • Able to lift, carry, push, and/or pull at least 20 lbs.
  • Have reliable transportation/vehicle.
  • Have a current driver’s license.
  • Pass a criminal background check.
  • Provide immunization records.
  • Required: at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree required when pursuing BCBA. Current attendance in undergrad courses if pursuing BCaBA.
  • CPR/First-Aid Certification preferred.
  • Crisis Prevention Certification/Behavior Management training preferred.

Qualifications

  • Work experience with a neurodiverse population.
  • Able to work with families of diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, both written and spoken.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Demonstrates flexibility in last-minute changes due to unexpected cancellations (will independently find another case to supervise or cover).
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Understanding of ABA principles and ability to apply those within a variety of contexts.
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or comparable credential.
  • At least 1 year of experience providing direct ABA services.

Functions/Roles

  • Provide supervision via Behavior Skills Training in person and online to RBTs delivering therapy
  • Build rapport with staff, clients, and caregivers.
  • Provide parent trainings on concepts of ABA
  • Update or revise programs (e.g., review data, write new goals, or update protocols)
  • Be willing to provide direct in-home ABA services by implementing programs for skill acquisition and behavior reduction as directed by their supervisor.
  • Collaborate with the training and communication of clients, stakeholders, and staff.
  • Display compassion and empathy towards the client and stakeholders.
  • Collect and input data on a daily basis.
  • Maintain documentation and strict confidentiality.
  • Abide by the BACB ethics code while obtaining required certifications.
  • For every 10 hours of 1:1 service, the BCBA will supervise for at least 2 hours.
