Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and energetic individual to join our team as a Food Runner. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and smooth operations in our restaurant. You will be responsible for delivering food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate tables, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with various tasks in the restaurant.

Responsibilities:

- Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely delivery of food orders

- Deliver food orders to the correct tables in a prompt and efficient manner

- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area

- Collaborate with servers to ensure exceptional customer service

- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally

- Follow food safety guidelines and maintain proper hygiene standards

- Assist with restocking supplies as needed

- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

- Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred

- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with kitchen staff, servers, and customers

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Knowledge of POS systems is a plus (Toast)

- Basic culinary knowledge is beneficial

- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude

- Ability to work well within a team and take direction from supervisors

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour
