Job Summary:
Field Service Technicians strive to always demonstrate the characteristics of the “Separators Way” by providing our customers excellent centrifuge repair service and support, by exceeding the customers’ expectations, show a willingness to commit to continuously improve, while minimizing the risk of injury and costs.

Job Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled centrifuge maintenance and repair work in our customer’s plants:
o Always work in safest possible manner and adhere to company and customer
safety rules.
o Arrive to service jobs on time, dressed appropriately, ready to work.
o Obtain customer approval for major parts not included in original quote and
confirm in report.
o Identify process/operating issues and recommend solutions.
o Provide in plant product/process technical support, troubleshooting and training.
o Provide feedback/recommendations on customer opportunities (parts, service and
equipment)
o Recommend to customers parts to buy/stock.
o Account for, pack up and arrange for return all unused parts.
o Follow up the day after service to ensure equipment is running properly.
o Produce complete, accurate and timely service reports.
o Flexibility to extend site visits based on customer need a must.
Prepare in advance for service jobs:
o Review previous service reports.
o Review provided Bill of Materials and check for accuracy.
o Locate and review pertinent manuals.
o Schedule work and any changes through centralized service scheduler
o Work with the customer directly to confirm schedule and any special requirements.
o Schedule all travel arrangements or work through travel agency while adhering to
company policy.
