Seoyon E Hwa Interior is Hiring a Quality Specialist Near La Grange, GA

Essential Functions:

  • Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications: conducting visual and measurement tests: rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
  • Approves in-process production by confirming specifications: measurement test: communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
  • Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions: calling for repairs as needed.
  • Accomplishes quality and organizational mission by completing related results as needed.
  • Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs: summarizing re-work and waste: inputting data into quality database.
  • Report all research results and document process improvement.
  • Analyze information and report to quality manager.
  • Manufacturing methods and procedures internal auditor.
  • Maintain 5-star, environmental, QS/TS and other system to attain certifications.
  • Responsible for mentoring new team members.
  • Adhere to and administer company policies/procedures pertaining to their job.
  • Actively seeks out areas for improvement and devises/aids in the development of counter measures.
  • Responsible for maintaining and supporting ISO/TS16949 and has the responsibility to contact Team Leads and/or stop processes that could ship a non-conforming products.
  • Responsible for maintaining and supporting ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001; the company’s environmental, health, and safety risks of their job, and how their job affects the environment.
  • Any and all other tasks assigned by management.Competencies:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree or Associate degree in a Technical or CAD discipline preferred.*
  • Must be able to clearly and directly communicate, internally and externally, through reports, personally, by telephone, etc.**
  • Must be able to counsel, guide, and evaluate the work of others in a manner that motivates the achievement of company goals.**
  • Must be able to interpret standards, drawings and process documents**
  • Must be willing to travel.**
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule.**

  • Physical demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to walk; sit; push and pull; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk to hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Work environment:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is in an uncontrolled temperature work environment. The noise level in the work environment is minimal and below OSHA requirements.
