Job Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic 4th grade teacher to join our team at Green Charter in Las Vegas. This is an immediate opening, and we are open to new graduates who have a strong passion for teaching and a commitment to making a positive impact on young minds. This is a title one school so must be comfortable working through challenging situations with students and be dedicated to helping the whole student succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Development: Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the state standards, fostering a love for learning in students.
• Classroom Management: Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and ensures the well-being of all students.
• Effective Teaching: Employ various teaching strategies and resources to cater to diverse learning styles, ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed.
• Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess students' progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with parents and guardians about student performance.
• Love for Teaching: Infuse energy and enthusiasm into lessons, inspiring a love for learning and encouraging students to ask questions and explore new ideas.
• Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to create a collaborative and supportive educational community.
• Professional Development: Stay current with educational trends and best practices, actively participating in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

Qualifications:

• Current Nevada teacher's license
• Strong passion for teaching and a genuine desire to inspire and educate young learners
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to creating an inclusive and welcoming classroom environment
• Effective classroom management skills
• Comfortable working in Title One environment
