Billing Clerk:
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Billing Clerk to join their team!
Our client is a prestigious law firm dedicated to providing exceptional legal services to their clients. They are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join their team. As a Billing Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely billing processes for their clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:

• Prepare invoices for partners based on billable hours, expenses, and other relevant information.
• Distribute monthly proformas and invoices to clients in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with billing deadlines.
• Process electronic invoices through the billing system, verifying accuracy and completeness of billing information.
• Collaborate with attorneys and other staff members to resolve any billing discrepancies or issues.
• Assist with generating billing reports and analyses as needed for internal or client purposes.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients by responding promptly and professionally to billing inquiries.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2 years experience in a law firm billing department.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with billing software or systems.
• Elite/Enterprise accounting software knowledge.
• Prior e-billing experience required; experience with multiple e-billing systems preferred (Serengeti, Corridor, Legal Exchange, TyMetrix, Collaborati, Lawtrac, CounselLink, etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with attorneys, clients, and colleagues.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
• Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive billing information.
