Sentara WILLIAMSBURG Ortho & Joint is seeking a Full Time NIGHT shift RN UNIT COORDINATOR

BONUS - Up to $20,000 for NIGHT shift

$500 Uniform Allowance

PREVIOUS ORTHO/JOINT BEDSIDE CARE AND HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT EXP STRONGLY PREFERRED.

Join the dynamic team of the Ortho/ Joint Unit.

This is a fast paced 24 bed unit catering to pre and post op ortho and joint replacement patients. Patient turn around time if quick and requires a well organized RN with the ability to prioritize and good critical thinking skills.

Demonstrates proficiency in nursing practice for assigned specialty area and provides clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in a department. Under the direction of the department manager leads safety and quality initiatives, focuses on and simplifies workflow, and contributes to the development of staff. Increase staff satisfaction and promotes excellent (Gold Standard) customer service.18 months nursing experience required. BSN required; Master degree preferred, if the graduate degree is not in nursing then the BSN is required. Meets any requirements defined by specific specialty. Behavioral Health - de-escalation and physical intervention training within 15 days of hire.Emergency Care - de-escalation and physical intervention training within 90 days of hire.BLS required within 90 days of hire. Professional Specialty Nursing Certification preferred.
